Outdoor Afro’s biggest collaboration to date launched in the Summer of 2022 with corporate partner REI. Condé Nast Traveler, one of Condé Nast’s publications which includes notable brands Vogue, The New Yorker, GQ, Vanity Fair, Wired, and Architectural Digest (AD), took note highlighting how our “size-inclusive hiking collection pays homage to the funkiness of ‘80s and ‘90s fashion.”

We can’t thank Condé Nast enough for sharing our passion and inspiration for this product line with the world. Not only does this accessible collection of hiking clothing bring Black Joy to the outdoors, it has also opened the door for endless possibilities in outdoor fashion moving towards an inclusive and expressive outdoor experience for all bodies.

To this point the article highlights our collaborative effort to ensure accessible costs, sizing and design details were created with every body fit in mind.
